I could give a rats ass about technical tests to prove this wrong either. Sad and daft if you ask me, but hey, that's where it has landed. So as long as they do, I wouldn't expect them to care too much about it.while all the others, who are looking for 'the correct way' to do something, kill themselves and lecture the crap out of seasoned pros about it. And include expectation bias in their decisions, or else they couldn't pull good results. These people get payed to trust their senses. And still not give two shites about fecking around with ABX every two seconds about every little minute thing. These people can be aware of expectation bias and STILL act like that. Because it feels better to THEM and hence makes for a tool that gets in the way less. Not because it DOES sound better in an ABX or not. And if they can hear something favourable, they will just use it. And ones that like to use what sounds good to them. Ones that like to go on about null tests and ABX and lecture the others on what is what to make themselves important. You know, it seems to me that people are splitting into two about this now. Super dedicated team, but the true test is to see how dedicated they are a year from now. What he said. Absolutely love bitwig and I am truly fortunate to finally have the live workflow and the sound of a DAW like PT, logic, Cubase in the same DAW. My big projects literally load in about 1.5 seconds whereas Live would take about 2-3 minutes. Also load times to open projects is literally 100X faster then Live for me. External syncing with gear is a snap etc. Bitwig lacks some things for people who work with VSTS(multiouts groups etc.) but if you use hardware mostly which I do its AMAZING. Bitwigs workflow is actually faster for me. Live is the worst sounding DAW I have ever used and I have used it extensively and exclusively for years until Bitwig came out because there was just no rival to its workflow.
